Dans cette parfaite tradition du phylactère…
Chez Léon a demandé au dessinateur Louvel de créer « Léon de la Moule », un petit personnage BD plein d’humour en forme de moule.
Flanqué d’une toque…
Et de son tablier blanc il se faufile partout, sur les cartes des menus, comme sur les pages de ce site internet.
C’est la vraie mascotte de Léon…
Et qui peut se vanter d’avoir déjà une belle carrière internationale:
on l’a déjà retrouvé sur des affiches de 20 m², dans divers comics strips, et même en pin’s!

Mimo że restauracja otwiera się o 12 to już dziesięć minut później bylo naprawdę sporo osób. Obsługa trochę wolna, na przystawke wzielam zupę z mulami a daniem.glownym była ryba z frytkami. Wszystko smaczne. Polecam miejsce.

Yediğimiz etin sosu damak tadınıza uygun gelmedi. Tereyağlı kasarpeynirli otlu midye ise harikaydi. Bira esliginde güzel bir yemek hizmeti aldık. Bizimle ilgilenen garson kibar ve yardımsever. chez Leon yemek arayisiniz varsa güzel bir deneyim sunacaktır.

Ik kwam hier vast al 20 keer, bij Léon, in de Beenhouwersstraat. Ofwel: in hartje Brussel, dat voor mij altijd als op reis zijn aanvoelt. Frequent nuttig ik hier met vrienden op zaterdag in de late middag twee garnaalkroketjes en een rum-cola zero – en frequenter nog omgekeerde aantallen. Om vervolgens later op de dag elders voor echt te gaan eten. Een steak-friet daarentegen at ik bij Léon dus nog nooit. Toen echter bleek dat men hier onder de 20 euro zat voor het gerecht der gerechten, maakte mijn hart een sprong. En alvorens het terug geland was op mijn diafragma, zat ik al op de trein richting Brussel Centraal.Chez Léon is één van de weinige zaken in deze buurt, samen met Aux Armes de Bruxelles, die zich niet (louter) op toeristen richten, maar ook veel vaste klandizie kennen. En bij Léon kan er wat klandizie binnen. Altijd veel volk en toch altijd veel plaats! En alle dagen open, nooit gesloten! De zaak ademt traditie. Met zwierige obers in klassieke pakken – wij proberen altijd te manoeuvreren tot we door de grootste bon vivant onder hen bediend worden. En met gouden plaatjes tegen de muur die herinneren aan roemrijke bezoekers. Zoals Koning Filip!Enfin, in die steak-friet van 19,75 euro zit dus heel veel ambiance inbegrepen. Verder is de steak gewoon goed. Met aan de pluszijde een goede grillsmaak. En aan de minzijde een bite die qua droogte weliswaar niet doet denken aan de Atacama-woestijn maar in Wādī Ḥalfā, de op enkel na droogste plek ter wereld, toch redelijk goed zou blenden. Ook qua groenten is het gerecht wel erg basis. De frieten daarentegen die zijn elke calorie waard. Godgans goed! Bij de beste dikke frieten in ons land. Logisch, want de hoofdzaak hier. Lekkere mayonaise is evident inbegrepen.“Als je Brussel wilt zien leven, hoef je niet veel geld uit te geven.” Zo bezong Johan Verminnen in 1989 de Beenhouwersstraat in Brussel. Comida deliciosa. Pedimos el conejo, el estofado y los volovanes y de verdad estuvo espectacular. El mesero era servicial sin embargo, no hablaba mucho inglés ni español por lo que fue un poco difícil comunicarnos. El ambiente del lugar es muy lindo, pero nos asignaron la mesa a la entrada de la cocina y la verdad es bastante ruidosa y estresante, prefieran mejor en otro de los salones del restaurante si pueden.

Petado de gente a elegir dentro o fuera, más bonito en calle más cómodo dentro en verano mejor temperatura, mucha rapidez a pesar de estar petado no se si por mucho personal.,buena organización o ambas cosas; todo buenísimo salvo la trisheza de la ensalada sin el menor aderezo una pena resto todo mu buena, probar de postre el cherps Leon, ESTE postre buenisimo y sabor diferente, precio normal de la zona dejo fotos

在比利時住了25年的阿姨帶我們全家來吃，淡菜很新鮮，口感柔軟多汁，總共點了5種不同口味的淡菜鍋+啤酒，非常滿足好吃！！
人員服務很好，巡桌很頻繁，讓客人感覺舒適。餐廳內的擺設也很用心很特別，餐後還拍了很多照片才離開
另外還有QRcode提供多國語言菜單，真的很貼心

点餐的时候，选了牛排但是店员没有询问顾客要几分熟点牛排，也没有提及关于这方面的问题，以至于牛排只有表皮一层是熟的里面都是生的 不过也能接受生一些的所以还是吃掉了甜点选了奶油华夫饼，在所有菜都吃完后才发现没有上甜点所以向店员询问，结果店员甚至忘记了这件事，拿来菜单让再点一份？最后在得知已经点过华夫饼后，我们又干坐着快半个小时甚至没看到华夫饼的影子真的很气！

Restaurante muito bem situado no centro, junto ao famoso bar Delirium. Serviço rápido e de qualidade, com ementa diversificada, comida típica belga e opções vegan. Provamos os carbonnades flamande à la bière, a formule léon 500gr e beurre à l'ail gratinées e estavam excecionais, motivo pelo qual repetimos a ida ao restaurente. É um restaurante antigo com tradição familiar ao longo das gerações e com decoração icónica da cidade.

Great atmosphere and location. Large restaurant with a lot of room. The mussels were delicious. French onion soup was mediocre at best. They could have a better selection of beer on tap. Otherwise a good experience and I'd recommend it.

El servicio fue excepcional, el camarero muy pendiente en todo momento.La comida estaba rica, destacar que los mejillones lo tiene en mucha variedad, gratinados, fritos, cocidos, etc. El plato estrella Carbonnade también estaba bueno.Es el lugar perfecto para ir nada más llegar a la ciudad, un clásico.

Brüksel’de oldukça bilinen bir yer olan Chez Leon’da midye yemek istedik ama ne yazık ki deneyimimiz beklentimizin altında kaldı. Otlu ve peynirli midye denedik, ancak lezzeti fazla yoğun ve kuru geldi, keyif alamadık. İstiridyeler de benzer şekilde çok farklı ve biraz rahatsız edici bir tada sahipti. Servis ortalamaydı; ne çok ilgili ne de sorunluydu. Mekânın dekorasyonu ise gerçekten çok güzeldi – otantik ve özenle düzenlenmiş bir ambiyans vardı. Yine de, yemek açısından beklentimizi karşılamadığı için bir daha tercih etmeyi düşünmüyoruz.

Este es uno de los restaurantes más recomendados para comer mejillones con papas fritas. Si bien estaban ricos, los gratinados en particular tenían el queso bastante seco y daba la sensación de que no fueron preparados en el momento. Aun así, la atención fue excelente: el mozo que nos atendió fue muy amable y simpático, lo que sumó a la experiencia.

6月上旬、20時半に入店しましたが店はそこそこの混み具合でした。ムール貝+フリッツ+ビールのセットをオーダー。ムール貝は評判通りのおいしさでしたが、セロリが独特の風味を出しているので苦手な人はいるかもしれません。フリッツもカリカリフワフワでおいしかったです。セットにつけたgeorge's pilsはピルスナーだけあってスルスル飲めました。追加したla leonはこの店の料理に合うように作られたビール（グラスもオリジナルだそう）で、ヒューガルデンのような香りも感じつつ（オレンジピールが入ってるみたい）、コクもあって好きでした。メニューがフランス語？のみなので翻訳は必須でした。案内してくれた店長らしき男性はとてもフレンドリーでしたが、担当のホールの男性は全然愛想なく少し残念でした。それでも料理とビールはとてもおいしく、よい時間を過ごせました。

I highly recommend to visit Chez Leon Restaurant in Brussels, If you want to eat traditional food, the casseroles of mussels are delicious if you like seafood, the fries and sauces are very taste, the Grefrituurde, the Stoemp van de day met spek of boeren worst very good, the service is good and their waitresses very friendly, the decoration is nice.

I ordered the mussels and frites, it came with a free beer. As a former chef I thought it was delicious, I don’t understand the bad reviews. The servers were attentive and informative, I was in no rush and the prices were comparable to other restaurants.

We had a wonderful experience at Chez Léon in Brussels. Despite not having a reservation, we were glad to be seated quickly, even with the restaurant being quite busy. The atmosphere was lively, and service was impressively fast.The food was absolutely delicious—freshly cooked and full of flavor. The mussels, in particular, were a highlight: simply prepared but incredibly tasty. You could really tell everything was made fresh. Overall, a fantastic place to enjoy authentic Belgian cuisine. Highly recommended!

Dropped by Chez Léon for dinner and it’s a classic Brussels spot! The mussels and fries were solid—big portion of moules marinières with a tasty broth, and the fries were crispy with that famous homemade mayo. Got a Léon beer to wash it down, which was a nice touch. The vibe is lively, with a cozy, old-school Belgian feel, right near the Grand Place. Staff were friendly but a bit stretched when it got packed. Prices are fair (~€25 for mussels and fries). Tip: reserve a table to skip the queue! 5 stars!

We had the best time at Chez Léon! A perfect stop for our last night in Brussels to get a few of our traditional dishes checked off the list. The staff was SO welcoming and friendly, but especially our server Anouar, who was awesome. He was so patient and kind and attentive and really helped make this dinner the cherry on top of a wonderful trip!

Midye ,patates,bira 20 euro. Midye için en temiz mekan.Begendik.Malesef dışarıda masa yok.Icerisi biraz yoğun. Yemek hemen geldi ama hesap gecikti epey bekledik.
